Our Philosophy

“There is always time to do it right”

At PENN PRO safety is paramount to every individual, whether it is in the design and engineering of a system or process, or in the actual field work required to implement a project. Ensuring an accident-free workplace is more than a priority, it is a part of our company principles.  Quality, safety, and service are built into every project we do.  No job is more important and no service is so urgent that we cannot take time to perform our work safely to prevent accidents and injuries. PENN PRO always adheres to the following policies:

  • We are committed to providing a safe work environment for all of our employees.
  • We expect each employee to be responsible for their own safety and to be held accountable for the safety of the people and equipment around them.
  • We consider this responsibility a part of each employee’s performance. To this end, we expect each employee to:
    • Understand and promote safety for themselves and their fellow workers.
    • Refuse to perform unsafe tasks.
    • Report all accidents, near misses and hazards to their supervisor.
    • Use proper protective equipment.
    • Follow established safety procedures at all times.
    • Take the time to perform every job safely.
 

Training Program

PENN PRO provides monthly classroom and on-the-job training for every individual.  The company also provides annual MSHA, OSHA, OSHA 10, and Florida Phosphate Training to each employee who enters a client site or facility.  Over time, the Safety Program has expanded to include changes in legal regulations as well as client requirements.  Our team learns through lectures, print materials, videos, demonstrations, and active participation.  Each month PENN PRO covers a different topic relevant to the services we provide and the clients we serve.

PENN PRO’s current safety program is available upon request. Each new employee is trained in these programs before entrance to any job site.  The list below outlines some of our specific programs to meet governmental requirements and the company’s goal to provide a safe and healthy work place.
